A few Answers about Support Rates and Packages

Why do I have to pay in Advance?

For hourly support only 1 hour is billed in advance. If additional hours are needed it’s discussed with you first before proceeding. There’s a (1) hour minimum, and 1/2 hour billing is available when the time is consecutive.

Support packages are a block of hours (4, 8 and 12)  at a reduced rate, in exchange for advanced payment. If you prefer to be billed by the hour at the full rate, that is no problem. At least one hour will be billed in advance and needed additional hours will be discussed before moving forward.

Unfortunately there is no scenario where I would provide the work first without any financial commitment from the client.

If you need Emergency (ASAP) Service  it’s best to call me first to check my immediate availability.  Emergency Service is billed at $125 for the first hour, and $75 for each additional if needed.

Are support packages for new website builds?

No. You cannot use a support package to have a new website built. New website projects are packaged at a flat rate (50/50) that covers all deliverables and expected time to completion.

Does this mean I get priority service?

Of course. Whenever possible I may even complete your work orders on the same day depending on the difficulty of the task, and what time of day the work request is submitted.  It’s best to speak to me first to determine if my availability meets your needs before you purchase any time.

How is my time tracked with the Packages?

It’s simple. Create an account in our tracking center https://clients.nhab.it/, where I will keep track of your tasks, work orders and the time used for each. You can log into your account at any time to see your work order history and time used for each

What do you need from me?

Consulting, Q&A’s, Reviews, Training, and general brain picking is done via Phone, Email, Skype, or Go To Meeting. Which ever you prefer or is appropriate for the situation.

Hands on support requires administrative access to whatever it is that I’m troubleshooting or maintaining including website admin access (username and password), hosting and social media accounts.

How do I submit work orders?

Good old fashioned email seems to work best for everyone. You’ll send your work orders to support@haroldmansfield.com, where you will receive an almost immediate confirmation that I’ve received it, and an ETA to completion of the task.

Can I secure support packages month to month?

Yep. I have many clients that keep us on call throughout the year.

What kind of contracts are involved ?

None. Since you are paying for services in advance, there are no contracts. You can come and go as you please.

What are your hours of operation ?

I’m here answering phones and support emails Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (PT). If you need weekend service, that’s something we can discuss.

Are you available for longer project commitments?

Yes. By trade I’m a web designer and also manage Social Media profiles, campaigns, and a whole range of website management and marketing tasks for all kinds of clients with varying web needs.
